After going to Manchester and studying for a degree in Environmental Management, I worked for a while in London as a copywriter at a famous dot com company. Whilst there I did a course in Photo Journalism in the evenings.

I am available for freelance work and subjects I am interested in are nature conservation, marine science, natural resource industries eg. Oil & Gas, renewables, weather, gardening, countryside, outdoor pursuits, horse racing, travel, World War Two, British history & heritage, etc.

The Unknown Warriors

In 2009 I completed a book I had been working on since Autumn 2006.
The book is called The Unknown Warriors and is a collection of letters from 150 WW2 veterans, with their memories of the war and also their thoughts on life in the UK today.
